Anthony Davis was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers one year ago today.
On June 15th, 2019, the Los Angeles Lakers finally completed the task of bringing in a second superstar alongside LeBron James by trading Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, the fourth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and a slew of future draft capital for Anthony Davis.
This had been the plan all along. Even with Magic Johnson resigning from his position as President of Basketball Operations, Rob Pelinka carried out their plan of bringing in two superstars to flip the culture of the Los Angeles Lakers.
