Lakers News: The purple and gold might get a sneak peak at the newest MCU film.

Right now there is a flurry of Los Angeles Lakers news that is hitting our computer screens as the NBA gears up to return to action at the end of July. Details about the league’s plan to return are not just emerging, but certain players have spoken out about playing as well.

Kyrie Irving is the most notable of these players, as he has reportedly been outspoken among other players about returning to play in Orlando with the current racial situation in the country.

Dwight Howard and Avery Bradley are among the notable players that are questioning the league’s return to action. The Lakers reportedly expect Howard to be with the team in Orlando, but are still unsure of Bradley’s intent.

MORE LAKERS NEWS: What do the Lakers do if Howard and Bradley don’t play?

If Howard and Bradley do return with the team at Disney World then they are going to get to experience something that is unlike anything professional sports have ever seen. The NBA has done its best in normalizing the return to play and has offered players a wide array of entertainment ventures in this “bubble” city.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that there will be several entertainment amenities available to the players among their arrival to the bubble city.

There are also some interesting rules regarding this as well, as things such as doubles ping pong and wearing headsets while gaming will not be allowed. There will not be a policing body, but players will have a hotline that they can call if they observe other players not following procedures.

All of this was outlined in a 113-page safety rule book that the league sent out to participating teams.

Not only are the players going to get entertainment to make their lives as normal as possible during this time, but they could first access to entertainment that many people around the world are itching to see.

Lakers News: NBA players might get an advanced screening of “Black Widow”

Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports reported that the movies that Disney will make available to the players during their tenure in the bubble city could include Disney movies that have not been released yet, which most notably, is Marvel’s “Black Widow”.

“Black Widow” was originally set to release on April 24, 2020 and has since been given a new release date of November 6, 2020, although that date should not be expected to be locked in stone with the ongoing situation in the world.

For Marvel geeks like myself, this is pretty big news. It is not just that NBA players might get to watch “Black Widow”, but it is that this could lead to some leaks, giving us some great information about the film and if it is steering the MCU is a new direction.

Which Laker do you think would be the most likely to leak some information to someone that then got out to the public? My bet is on Kyle Kuzma… accidentally.
