Dwight Howard has championship experience and will not cave for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lake Show Life has championed Dwight Howard since the beginning. We knew that his reputation for his antics were, let’s just say, horrific. But the man can play ball and that’s what mattered at the time. We even gave Dwight Howard some advice on keeping a low profile.

Then something happened. Dwight Howard started dominating people. Remember what he did to the San Antonio Spurs when two fans started talking trash to him? He decided to destroy Jakob Poetl and the Spurs front line for the rest of the night.

People forget that Howard brings NBA Finals experience to the table. He was the featured guy on a Orlando Magic team that lost to Kobe Bryant’s Lakers years ago. Plus he has the ability to make winning plays with the stars in crunch time in Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

There’s no question that Avery Bradley sitting out for the championship run hurts, but the Lakers can adjust. Look at how many guards they have on the roster and LeBron James runs the point. They’ll survive.

Dwight Howard is not an easy fill. Not the way he has been playing and with his physical gifts. Please stop the DeMarcus Cousins talk. Is he available? Who knows. Will he help the Lakers? No. Anybody see his pick androll defense against the Toronto Raptors in last year’s Finals? last I checked they are in the running again.

NBA insider Shams Charania reported that multiple teams were interested in Cousins but were informed that he would not be participating in the Orlando bubble. If he changes his mind, the Lakers should avoid the signing.

Again, it bears repeating that Dwight Howard has not officially backed out of playing yet. Lake Show Life is on top of it and will deliver the news when we can. But who knows.
