The Los Angeles Lakers need to make improvements for the NBA Playoffs.

As long as everything goes as planned, the Los Angeles Lakers are going to be back in action on July 30, squaring off against the Los Angeles Clippers in the first night of the NBA’s resumption in the Orlando bubble.

The Lakers will play eight seeding games before jumping into the playoffs with the first seed essentially locked down. From there, the team is going to embark on one of the most difficult paths to the NBA Finals because of the ongoing situation in the world.

The Lakers have been one of the best teams in the league this season and are viewed as one of three likely winners of the NBA Championship alongside the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers.

You could absolutely make the case that the Lakers are the best team in the league with the best superstar pairing and the statement they made prior to the league’s hiatus, beating the Bucks and Clippers in back-to-back games.

However, the Lakers are far from a perfect team and there are two areas that the team is going to need to improve in during the playoffs if they want to reach their potential of being NBA Champions.

The following slides outline the two areas that the Lakers need to improve.
