Two players on the Los Angeles Lakers benefit from Avery Bradley’s absence.

The Los Angeles Lakers are gearing up to return to action in the Orlando Bubble at Disney World. Seeding games are set to begin on June 30, with three scrimmages scheduled before June 30 to help guys get back into the fold.

Right now, the biggest priority for the league is to keep all of the players safe and get them to Orlando, where the bubble will be implemented, thus lowering any risk of a COVID-19 outbreak among players.

There are several notable NBA players that have opted out of the Orlando restart, whether it is for health and safety reasons because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic or if it is due to other things, such as a player being in a contract year.

The Lakers have one of those notable players in Avery Bradley, who is not rejoining the Lakers, citing the health of his family. The Los Angeles Lakers signed J.R. Smith to add more depth to the backcourt with Bradley’s absence.

There has been plenty of insight and analysis done here at Lake Show Life regarding how head coach Frank Vogel will alter the rotation without Bradley. While we won’t know the exact details of the rotation until we see it in action, we do know that certain Lakers will benefit from a bigger role without Bradley.

You could make the case for any guard on the Lakers to be a beneficiary, although, there are two guards specifically that benefit the most.
