LeBron James might not get the MVP, but he is going to challenge Giannis Antetokounmpo based on his energy!

This just into Lake Show Life! LeBron James is good. Real good. Like he dominated the Dallas Mavericks in every facet of the game in his 15 minutes on the floor. If the other contenders did not stay in shape over the NBA shutdown, LeBron James will humiliate them on the court and expose their professionalism while they were off it.

LeBron James is in basketball shape folks and right now all he needs to do is get his timing down with the new additions. That’s all really this report has to say for this game. In his tenure on the floor, LeBron scored 12 points on 4-6 shooting while adding 5 assists and 3 rebounds.

But his ability to quarterback the Lakers high powered offense from its defense was the key to James’ brilliance. Notice here how fast LeBron gets the fast break going. With Dwight Howard easily beating Boban Marjinovich down the floor, James does the right thing and rewards the big man for running hard and hits him with the alley-oop.

What’s even more amazing is how many Mavericks players are lagging behind. This is the old Showtime Lakers speed of the 80’s being shown here.

Now this play right here is just ridiculous. Somebody call Adam Silver and get LeBron James’ birth certificate! Like how old is this dude?

LeBron James just ran past J.J. Barea so fast that he couldn’t even get the foul to stop the break and Justin Jackson just made a life decision not to get in front of what James Worthy called in the broadcast “A freight train”. By the time he takes off for the dunk, neither Maverick player is even past the free-throw line.

The charge for the Los Angeles Lakers coaching staff for the next two scrimmage games is making sure that LeBron is not playing meaningless minutes. Everyone that saw this game knows that LeBron James is ready.

How about his partner in crime, Anthony Davis? Is he ready?
