The “South Bay” connection gave the Los Angeles Lakers fans a glimpse into the future!

Rob Pelinka deserves a ton of credit for building the Los Angeles Lakers roster with veterans to surround LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but the scouting team has been just as amazing. Coby Karl and the South Bay Lakers G-League organization has been outstanding developing young talent for the future.

Remember where Alex Caruso was last year!

Devontae Cacok:

This Cacok dude right here is strong, tough and will give you the business if your game is weak on a basketball floor. Devontae was extremely effective with his time on the floor, providing endless energy competing on both sides of the floor. Cacok scored 11 points on 5-7 shooting and grabbing 10 boards in just 13 minutes. This is AD efficiency folks.

The Los Angeles Lakers have a real player on their hands that might get some minutes in the postseason if foul trouble or injuries occur. He is scared of nobody. This is the guy that would get in a fight in a practice scrimmage with the front-line or even LeBron. That’s called toughness and that’s a good thing.

Kostas Antetokounmpo:

Antetokounmpo will challenge every shot in an endearingly active attempt to protect the basket.

Plus, he is working on his post moves that will make him an effective player with more time in the G-League. With time Kostas will show the potential coaches have been trying to mine out of him. He finished with 9 points and 8 rebounds in 22 minutes.

Talen Horton Tucker:

Talen Horton-Tucker didn’t play a great game, but he made a few plays for teammates with his passing. He has to start disguising that move to the basket when he lowers that shoulder. Still, he’s the youngest player in the league. He’s got time. THT finished with 3 points and 3 assists in 21 minutes.

Next. 3 trades to make involving Danny Green. dark

The Los Angeles Lakers are now done with the last of their three scrimmages and will get the next few days off before facing the LA Clippers on Thursday. Lake Show Life will lead you with full in-depth analysis and features.
