The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Washington Wizards in their last scrimmage of the Orlando bubble.
The Los Angeles Lakers have played two scrimmages thus far in the Orlando bubble and have one more before kicking off the resumed season. The Lakers play the Washington Wizards on Monday just three days before they are set to tip-off against the Los Angeles Clippers in their first game that actually counts.
The Lakers are 1-1 in their two scrimmages thus far but the results do not really mean much to the team. What is more important is the looks we are getting at the rotation and the roster and the telling signs that we can take away from the games that will impact the team in the playoffs.
There have been some great takeaways thus far (such as LeBron James and Anthony Davis not missing a beat) as well as some bad ones (such as the team’s pick-and-roll defense on the perimeter without Avery Bradley).
Luckily, the Wizards do not really have anyone that shoots well-enough from three to be overly concerned about, so the team should be just fine in this scrimmage.
