The Los Angeles Lakers have several different players that can play during the clutch in the playoffs.
With the NBA scrimmages on the Orlando campus winding down, it is time for the Los Angeles Lakers coaching staff to decide, who they want playing during the clutch when the NBA playoffs begin.
The Los Angeles Lakers will play eight more regular-season games to determine their seeding for the playoffs and they hold a 5.5 game lead for the number one seed in the western conference. Although the team has a great chance at finishing the regular season at the top of the conference, they will look to address any last-minute lineup adjustments.
One major thing that Frank Vogel and the rest of the coaching staff will need to figure out, is who they trust the most to close out games in the playoffs. This is not an easy task as the Lakers have several different players who can perform in the clutch, so it is all about who to play and when.
This list consists of different players who may prove to be valuable during the closing moments of the upcoming playoff games. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are not on this shortlist of players, as they will most definitely be on the court at the end of every close game unless they are injured.
