Alex Caruso is more than just a meme for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Carus-goat. Carushow. The Bald Mamba. The Bald Eagle.

If you’re a Los Angeles Lakers fan, you’re no doubt familiar with Alex Caruso and the many nicknames attributed to him due to his cult-hero status.

Due to a combination of his unassuming schoolteacher-like appearance, his relentless hustle, and his surprising athleticism, Alex Caruso is a fan favorite amongst not just Laker fans, but across the wider NBA landscape.

However, what if I were to tell you that he wasn’t just a meme? I’m of the firm belief that Alex Caruso is not only a good basketball player, but has the chance to play an integral role in a championship run.
