The Los Angeles Lakers “host” the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Lakers are back at “home” after two “road games” on Wednesday as they are set to square off against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This is the Lakers’ fourth game in the Orlando bubble thus far while it is the Thunder’s third.
The Lakers are 2-1 in the bubble thus far with wins over the Clippers and Jazz while the Thunder are 1-1 in their two contests. Oklahoma City is coming off a loss at the hands of the Denver Nuggets but routed a common opponent with the Lakers in the Utah Jazz, 110-94.
This is bound to be an interesting game as one-half of the Banana Boat Crew is in action and we have gotten several entertaining games from these teams this season. Our own Kevin Germany thinks this is going to be a dominant win for the Lakers.
How to watch the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Like the Los Angeles Lakers’ first three games in the bubble thus far, this game is going to be nationally televised by ESPN. That means that anyone with a TV subscription throughout the country can watch this game via the worldwide leader in sports.
If you do not have a cable subscription then don’t fret, you can sign up for a seven-day free trial of fuboTV, which includes ESPN among various other sports channels, and stream the game live.
If you do have a television subscription but will not be near your television then you can also download the ESPN app, enter your television provider information in the app and stream the game on your phone, laptop or whatever it may be.
For those that have Spectrum, this game is also going to have a Lakers’ broadcast on the Spectrum SportsNet channel. Pre-game coverage begins at 3:00 p.m. PDT with an hour-long post-game show as well.
For the Laker fans that are in enemy territory for this game, it will also be broadcast on Fox Sports Oklahoma, although you will have to watch the action with Thunder commentators (at that point, it might be best to just watch the game on ESPN).
Tip-off is slated for 3:30 p.m. PDT and this is one leg of a back-to-back for the Los Angeles Lakers, as they are set to take on the Houston Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Thunder will have a day off before taking on the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.
