There is always room for improvement for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers are on the cusp of the playoffs, with the squad already finalized for this season, what can the purple and gold do to get better next season?

The NBA Playoffs are so close.

With the regular season games now coming to an end, it is just about time for teams to prepare for a long playoff run.

You can bet that LeBron James and the purple and gold will be doing everything in their power in order to best be ready for game 1.

Looking at this Los Angeles Lakers roster, it is touch and go as to whether they are built to win the Larry O’Brien trophy this season.

A roster that was rushed together after missing out on Kawhi Leonard, the purple and gold did really well to put together a competitive roster after missing out on most free agents due to the length it took for Kawhi to decide.

A significant portion of the credit must go to Rob Pelinka who put together a contender and the trade that landed Anthony Davis.

With LeBron and AD, the Lakers have a legit contender. The question is, what can the purple and gold do next season in order to improve the squad?

With most players on the squad tied the team til the Summer of 2021, what can the purple and gold do to a squad that looks to be pretty set as it is?

Should they keep the squad as is, focus on working things out and hope to win next year? Or should they realize that the squad is imperfect as currently constructed and work to make the team better in different ways?

The 2nd option seems like the more realistic and likely option.

With that being said, Here are 3 things the Los Angeles Lakers can do to improve their roster going into next season.
