Los Angeles Lakers rumors: Victor Oladipo could be on the trade block this offseason.
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently competing not just in the Orlando bubble but to help send a message and spark change with the recent actions taken by the league. While that takes precedent, the front office is still preparing for the upcoming offseason and the Lakers rumors have already begun.
Win or lose the NBA Championship this year, the Lakers are going to be looking to get better. The number one priority is making sure Anthony Davis stays in LA — which seems like a given.
However, the Lakers also have the opportunity to potentially swing a trade for a third superstar and that third superstar could very well be Victor Oladipo.
Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report explained in a recent article why NBA insiders believe that Oladipo will be on the trade block this offseason, who could look to flip Oladipo for assets instead of paying him a max contract.
Pincus said if Oladipo does hit the market, we can expect teams like the Los Angeles Lakers or Brooklyn Nets to pursue him.
