After an unexpected outcome, the Denver Nuggets will play against the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.

The Denver Nuggets shocked the entire basketball world when they beat the favorited Los Angeles Clippers in an exciting seven-game series. This is the second time during the 2020 playoffs that the Nuggets have come back from a 3-1 series deficit.

Behind superstar center Nikola Jokic and star point guard Jamal Murray, the Nuggets have developed a strong offense with several three-point shooters who have been lethal so far in the playoffs.

However, the Los Angeles Lakers‘ defense has been arguably the best in the playoffs and they have already crushed great offensive teams in the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers.

Although everyone expected the Clippers the face off against the Lakers, the team cannot underestimate the Denver Nuggets come Friday night. This team has all the confidence in the world right now, and they will ride that confidence into game one.

With starting small forward, Will Barton out for the playoffs, the Nuggets have had several players step up their play significantly filling his absence. The following three Nuggets’ players have earned tremendous respect around the league, and they cannot be overlooked at any point over the next couple of games.
