LeBron James set the table for the Los Angeles Lakers and got a near triple-double!

Anthony Davis just outmatched the Miami Heat. LeBron James just surgically dismantled the opposition by playing chess while Miami was playing checkers.

LeBron James was one assist shy of getting yet another triple-double putting up a stat line of 25 points (9-17 shooting, 2-4 from 3 point range!) 13 rebounds, 9 assists with only 2 turnovers.

While all of the reports about the Los Angeles Clippers wanting to get home from the bubble are coming out, let the Lake Show Life staff say this about LeBron James.

Oh, he’s ready to go home too. He wants to be out of Orlando by next Wednesday with a Finals sweep, his 4th NBA championship and a potential NBA Finals MVP trophy.

How do we know? In the 4th quarter, when the Lakers took the foot off the gas, LeBron went into a tirade about a missed defensive rotation so strong that the sound delay was up longer than the normal 5 seconds.

The Los Angeles Lakers are loaded up with veterans that have playoff experience. Nobody is even close to having the Finals experience of LeBron James (50th game!). That man is not going to let the Miami Heat off the hook.

Up until Wednesday night, James’ teams had been 1-8 in Game 1 of past NBA Finals, which included seven straight losses.

He made sure the trend didn’t continue.

Sure, the stars were amazing, but read on to see why Miami doesn’t have much hope. The Los Angeles Lakers were supposed to be the poor 3 point shooting team right?
