Jeanie Buss had a plan and pretty much told everyone last year!

During the NBA awards last year, Jeanie Buss stated in an interview that the Lakers would be back. Some moves that she didn’t want to go into were being made and things would be much improved. Now she’s the first female owner in NBA history to win a championship.

Well, she was right!

To Jeanie Buss the Queen of the Lakers franchise: Michael Jackson…The Lady in my life!

Lake Show Life bows. We were worried! We went on record saying so!

But in three years, she dealt with the firing of her brother Jim, then the lawsuits that followed, Magic Johnson‘s resignation without her knowledge and stayed the course. Oh, by the way, the fans actually protested last offseason.

She, along with the Rambises, Phil Jackson and her decision to give Rob Pelinka total control, brought back the vision set by her father, the late Dr. Jerry Buss. Showtime is now back in Los Angeles. In business, success starts at the top. Her courage and leadership is a major reason why.
