Dwight Howard, KCP, Kuz, Rondo and the crew…Thank you!

Outside of Danny Green, nobody on this list makes more than $5 million dollars (Avery Bradley’s MLE!). But everyone for better or worse sacrificed a lot to help this team. Here are some of the ones that stood out.

To the bench: Jerry Reed…Eastbound and down!

Dwight Howard:

The man had to beg to prove himself. If DeMarcus Cousins doesn’t blow out his knee, he is not even here. The man had to work for a guaranteed contract. The way he left years ago, he has shown that you can forgive sometimes. Lake Show Life wrote a piece saying to sign him but it was really just to trigger Lakers fans on a slow news day last summer. To think he started with an unguaranteed contract!

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope:

There is no member of this team that deserves to cry in the locker room more than KCP. He was around in the lean years. He was around getting joked around by Lakers fans. His airball is attached to a meme of Kobe Bryant walking out of the Staples Center in disgust! He scored zero points to start the season. He scored zero points to start the postseason. Now he’s champ! If you work hard enough, you gain respect!

Kyle Kuzma:

This dude grew up from a young team that wasn’t going anywhere, changed his game to fit playing with a championship team and survived. To those fans signing petitions so you won’t get a ring? Get lost!

Rajon Rondo:

Fun fact: He hates being called Playoff Rondo! But seriously, this series was all over him during the regular season. Thought he was done and his defense made us want to cancel the cable. In the postseason he was a star in his role. After the Houston series, he can really make a claim as being the third most important player on the team.

Danny Green:

Lakers Nation does not deserve you. What you had to deal with with your fiancée is the most ridiculous thing ever. No one should deal with death threats.  You missed a shot. So what? Sure I am on record criticizing your play all year (Still stand by it!). But no one was rooting harder for you in this game than this writer. Enjoy the championship (Again!), hug your lady and good luck with your wedding and upcoming life together!

To the rest of the crew, especially the ones that came in after the trade deadline, Lake Show Life has nothing but respect for all of you. If we criticized you hard, no hard feelings.

In closing, Lake Show Life knows that this was about Kobe Bryant and honoring him. Read on to do a favor for this website.
