The Los Angeles Lakers will only get better for the 2020-21 NBA season.

The Los Angeles Lakers are champions of the world. The Lakers bested the Miami Heat in six games in the NBA Finals to cap off what was a dominant NBA Playoffs run. While some want to say there is an asterisk involved, this was undoubtedly the toughest NBA Championship that was ever won.

This was a long time coming for Laker fans. Yes, it has only been 10 years since the Lakers last once the NBA Championship but that is an eternity for a franchise that has put together dynasty after dynasty with superstar after superstar.

A trade seems like the most likely outcome and there are several reasons why we can expect a significant trade by the Lakers this offseason. It won’t be an Anthony Davis-level trade, but it will be one that brings a new third-best player into the fold and primes the Lakers to win a second-straight title.

Here are the three telling signs that lead us to believe that the Lakers will make that move.
