Once again, the Kyle Kuzma trade rumors have legs for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers just won championship no. 17 but that has not stopped the speculation from already starting. The Lakers could have a lot of questions to answer this offseason, with one of the most notable storylines being whether or not Kyle Kuzma gets trades.

The Kuzma trade rumors were very prominent before the trade deadline but nothing came of it. Kuzma stayed in LA, continued his volatility throughout the rest of the season but won a championship in the process.

While he had his good moments, we saw first-hand that the Lakers would probably be just fine without Kuzma, if the price is right, moving forward.

We are not sure if the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in trading Kuzma but we certainly know that it is a possibility and that several teams are interested. In his latest piece, Shams Charania of The Athletic, when writing about Kuzma’s future, said, “Amd then there is the option of a trade suitor with several interested clubs.”

Several interested suitors. Kyle Kuzma has trade value if several teams are interested in him. Let’s take our best guess as to which teams might be interested in bringing Kuzma in via trade, using two key factors:

  1. A (somewhat) need at forward
  2. The ability to sign him after 2020-21.

These are not reports, these are predictions. Here are the best potential fits for Kyle Kuzma in a trade this offseason, in no particular order.
