Talen Horton-Tucker

Rookie Talen Horton-Tucker did not receive much playing time before the interruption but, after showing up in great shape in the bubble, he got his chance in the seeding games and even in the playoffs, surprising everyone.

As the second-youngest player in the NBA, who spent most of the season in G League, not much was expected from him, but he amazed the city of Los Angeles with good performances and great confidence on the floor.

In a span of four games, THT averaged 8.5 points and 1.8 steals in the seeding games, while in back-to-back apparitions in Games 4 and 5 of the Conference Semifinals produced 7 points per game shooting 40 percent from three.

Despite his age and his low ranking coming out of college, Horton-Tucker proved he can already play at the NBA level and contribute to a championship team.

Much more than just a three-point shooter, expect him to be promoted and receive steadier playing time next year. He deserves to receive the chance to give his contribution. An offensive threat but most importantly a ball-handler and a defensive presence.
