4. Jae Crowder

Jae Crowder has to be one of the most underrated three and D wing players in the entire NBA. His career has been an interesting one, bouncing from team to team, sometimes spending time with actual contenders and other times being sent to non-contenders as part of a trade.

He has been through it all, seen it all and has the experience that the Los Angeles Lakers are looking for out of a free agent. While I am a big fan of Markieff Morris in the bench four role, having Crowder off the bench as a hybrid three/four would be extremely nice for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Crowder was fantastic in the NBA Playoffs for the Miami Heat and was one of the main reasons why the Heat made it all the way to the NBA Finals to begin with. On top of really good defense, Crowder averaged 12 points per game with 34.2% shooting from beyond the arc.

That might not seem all that great but his numbers did go down against the Lakers, who held every team they played in the NBA Playoffs to worse three-point shooting than they had prior. Against the Bucks, for example, Crowder shot 43.1% from beyond the arc.

Crowder only shot 34.3% from three during the regular season as well but shot 44.5% from three in 20 games with the Miami Heat. He is a streakier shooter than the other on this list and probably is the worst three-point shooter but he brings so much more to the table that makes him valuable.
