Several Los Angeles Lakers players have circulated through the rumor mill. We’ll buy or sell the latest trade gossip.

The Los Angeles Lakers clinched the title over the Miami Heat a little over a week ago. Fans of the Purple and Gold celebrated for a day or two, and then most folks turned their attention towards free agency.

The first major free agency news to hit Lakerland was that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Rajon Rondo, two critical members of the Lakers championship rotation, were planning on opting out of their player options and exploring the market.

Then we learned that several organizations across the NBA were interested in Kyle Kuzma, another key role player from the Lakers.

Finally, some execs suggested that the Lakers might try to trade for one of LeBron James’s best friends, Chris Paul. At the same time, other “anonymous” sources leaked that Rob Pelinka might be interested in rekindling the Derrick Rose trade talks with the Detroit Pistons from last season.

Lakers gossip flies around the internet like a small-town high school that just saw the prom king and queen break up after a big yelling match in the hall.

Up next, we’ll break through the noise and determine which rumors have some truth to them and which ones are false.
