Lakers cards worth collecting: Vlade Divac rookie card
A slabbed and graded Vlade Divac card could have been yours for 99 cents if you moved quick enough on this listing.
OK, it’s only PSA-8, but still! A rookie card for 99 cents, graded! Vlade Divac cards are high on this list because they’re highly attainable and for an affordable price in most cases. Even graded cards don’t frequently go past the $10 mark for Divac rookies.
Divac’s impact on the franchise cowers in the sights of some of the other great big men, and his dealings as an executive certainly taint his legacy a bit for more modern fans.
Spending his seven first years in the league with the Lakers, he did enough on the defensive end to still be fourth in blocks in franchise history, even to this day. The Hall of Fame made the All-Rookie team and was an All-Star once, but that was with the Sacramento Kings.

Divac also brought the team one of their best players of all-time when he was traded to the Charlotte Hornets for Kobe Bryant.
Divac is like Van Exel in that he never won a title with the Lakers, so he’s not one of the top Lakers to consider when looking for rookie cards.
While Divac is probably best known for his time playing for the Kings, the purple and gold jersey makes even a rival look great, especially on a rookie card.
