1. Point guard could become a huge need for the Los Angeles Lakers

The point guard position is an interesting one for the Los Angeles Lakers as they have LeBron James essentially acting like the point guard while being the small forward. That is why the team started Avery Bradley all season as he was a one-guard that did not need the ball like a typical one-guard.

Bradley might not be on the Lakers next season. He has a player option and can opt-out of his deal and chase a larger contract, something he probably would get after a great season with LA.

However, he also might not even play next season. Nothing has yet been reported but Bradley opted not to re-join the team in the NBA bubble, citing health concerns with his family. The coronavirus pandemic will still exist when the 2020-21 NBA season starts.

The team needed some kind of traditional point guard and had that last season in Rajon Rondo, who was really good in the NBA Playoffs. Rondo has opted-out of his player option and could find greener pastures in free agency.

Mix that with the possibility of losing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the hole at the point guard position for the Lakers could be massive and could become a pressing need, which instantly makes Dragic much more valuable.
