4. Victor Oladipo

The rest of the trade section of the list, if the Lakers were able to pull off a trade for them it would give them the best odds to win the title next season and they would create big threes in Los Angeles. Victor Oladipo has the Los Angeles personality but has been stuck in places like Orlando, Oklahoma City, and Indiana his entire career.

He has also proven to have the game to be a former all-star as recently as the 2018-19 season. Oladipo would also give the Lakers a proven lockdown defender in the backcourt because Oladipo has been a solid defender since he entered the league in 2013 and even made an all-defensive first team in 2017-18.

Unfortunately, he is coming off a major injury from last season, but he has built a reputation as one of the tougher players in the league and has come back from injuries before in his career. He is also still only 28 years old, and would be in the perfect age range to co-star with Anthony Davis when King James inevitably retires.

There have already been rumors linking Oladipo to the Lakers this offseason, Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus mentioned back in August that “teams like the Nets and the Lakers could pursue him, even without a long term commitment.”

The injury makes this trade a little riskier than the next three on the list, but Oladipo would instantly improve Los Angeles’ odds to win the title next season.
