2. Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal is easily the most talented player on this list and by far the best scorer as well and would give the Lakers their highest ceiling if acquired. The only reason he is listed as the second-best trade is because the Lakers being able to actually land him seems way less likely than the number one trade option.

However, that has not stopped trade rumors from circling around the Wizards like vultures waiting for them to finally trade Wall or Beal. Beal has been linked to the Lakers in particular because he recently purchased a house in Los Angeles and his wife who quote tweeted that mentioned him being traded to the Lakers.

In this video clip, well-known LeBron supporter Shannon Sharpe says “If we get Bradley Beal it is over for the next three years.”

It is hard to argue against Sharpe when he makes that statement, but his counterpart Skip Bayless makes a rare good point in his rebuttal pointing out, how are you going to fit him under the cap?

Luckily enough for Lake Show Life followers, our captain Jason Reed already laid out how a Bradley Beal trade could happen all the way back in February.

Reed’s potential trade package was as follows.

Wizards Get

Danny Green,

Kyle Kuzma, Avery Bradley, Quinn Cook,

Talen Horton-Tucker, 2020 first-round pick

Lakers Get

Bradley Beal

If this package is enough to get a deal done between these two teams, the Lakers should jump at the chance to make this deal happen. The only thing that would change from this suggested deal would be Avery Bradley would not be included unless the Lakers sign and trade him because he is a free agent this offseason.
