The Los Angeles Lakers can still trade Kyle Kuzma despite already trading Danny Green.

The Los Angeles Lakers made their first big move of the offseason, trading Danny Green and the 28th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft to Oklahoma City for Dennis Schroder. This was a savvy move by Rob Pelinka as Schroder fits the need for a point guard.

Green was extremely disappointing in the NBA bubble and NBA Playoffs and Schroder, as long as he plays as he did last year in OKC, will be a big upgrade on that front for the Lakers.

The Lakers reportedly offered a package around Green, Kyle Kuzma and the 28th overall pick for Jrue Holiday, which was rejected. The New Orleans Pelicans ended up getting far better, getting three first-round picks and two first-round pick swaps from the Milwaukee Bucks.

Without Green, it may seem like the possibility of a Kyle Kuzma trade is gone. Green’s contract was an important one for the Lakers to acquire a player with a larger salary as Kuzma is still on his rookie contract.

While trading Green removes the possibility of landing a bigger name for Kuzma, there are still some fun possibilities for the Lakers in a Kuzma-centered trade.

Things will continue to develop and more trades could be added to this list as we learn more about which teams are buying and selling this offseason. For now, here are two fun Kyle Kuzma trades that could still be on the table.
