With NBA free agency dust settling. We take a look at five trade partners for the Los Angeles Lakers with Kyle Kuzma.

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a very busy offseason. They have vastly upgraded their roster and look primed to go after another championship. On paper they’re even better then last year and the additions of Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schröder makes their offense even more dangerous.

The Lakers struggled last season with LeBron James off the court. As Rajon Rondo, who has always been a good passer struggled to get the offense going. He played well in the playoffs but struggled in the Finals.

Insert Schröder who can not only create offense for others on the floor, but he can also create his own shot. The duo of him and Harrell could be tremendous and allow LeBron more rest this year. Something he will need going on 36 years old and shortened offseason.

One question still remains though and that is Kyle Kuzma, what should the team do with him? He was supposed to be the third option on the team last season but struggled mightily. He lacked consistency and on most occasions confidence.

It’s quite possible now that free agency is settling down a trade can transpire. With the Lakers wanting to keep flexibility going forward to pair a star with AD, paying Kuzma may not pay dividends in that.

Kuzma was passed by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as the third option for the Lakers in the playoffs. Who the Lakers brought back on a hefty contract. So there is only so much money to go around, the Lakers may be able to cash in and get some assets to help lighten the load on their luxury tax bill when they get to that point.

So here are five possible destinations for Kuzma, that the Lakers could feel is worth the call.
