3. Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls begin a new regime under Billy Donovan. One that has things looking up in Chicago. The team has been down for so long, but now have a coach who has had success in the NBA and is a respected voice for players.

The team is filled with young talent and Kuzma is a guy who fits the Billy Donovan mold. He has seen quite a bit of what Kuzma could do in his days with OKC. As he had some of his best games against the Thunder.

The Bulls have a ton of money coming off of the salary books after this season. They could have space for two max contracts. Kuzma will not see that type of money, but if he plays well the Bulls can pay him nicely.

With Otto Porter finishing up his contract, there could be a space long-term for Kuzma to thrive. He could get back to his 3-point shooting and he could open the floor up for the team.

The Bulls like the others have good draft compensation available. Their players don’t include much in terms of trade assets. So the Lakers would be after the picks that they can then turn into a better asset.
