1. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder might be the most logical destination here. They’re equipped with more draft picks than people can keep count of now. But Sam Presti is very tricky to deal with, he tries to get assets back with players and is very successful at it.

The Thunder currently have 23 players on their roster so they need to start sizing down as well. But Presti knows all about Kuzma and what he can provide to the Thunder. Kuzma plays well in Oklahoma City and could provide the team with an older talent but also still young to fit the timeline.

The Thunder for the future have four players who are untouchable and they are Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Darius Bazley, Luguentz Dort and Alexis Pokusevski. So they will need more players to start building with them for the future.

Kuzma could help the team with scoring and also round out his game on defense for the team. The Thunder will have a lot of cap space after next season and will have the money to pay him if he plays well.

The Thunder will not be able to use all of their draft picks so they will need to trade some in the future and could find value here. They also need to trade some players so Ty Jerome among others could be fillers in a deal.

But again with Presti, you have no idea how a deal will shake out here.
