With training camp in full swing and the start of the season just around the corner, we break down the roles of each player on the Los Angeles Lakers roster.

The Los Angeles Lakers have a new-look roster filled with new faces. Let’s break down the role that each player has on the team for the 2020-21 season.

Superstar Leaders: LeBron & AD

This one should be obvious. There is no questioning who the leaders of this team are.

LeBron James has been one of the greatest leaders in sports history for nearly two decades now, and Anthony Davis, fresh off his first championship, now carries the added responsibility of leading by example for those who have yet to reach the promised land.

No matter who scores more, who has more plays run through them, more minutes, etc. LeBron and AD will share this leadership role.

They’ll run the show together on the court with their superstar play and lead the group off the court by showing up to work every day with the single goal of getting better and ultimately winning a second straight championship.
