Quinn Cook has re-joined the Los Angeles Lakers. Was it the right move?

The Los Angeles Lakers roster is good to go for the 2020-21 NBA Season.

A mixture of old and new faces have been assembled to help the purple and gold raise a record-setting 18th banner.

The purple and gold have some familiar faces back.

Alex Caruso, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LeBron James, Talen Horton-Tucker, Anthony Davis, Kyle Kuzma, Jared Dudley, and Markieff Morris. Not to mention, the two-way players DeVontae Cacok and Kostas Antetokounmpo.

They also welcome some new faces. Dennis Schröder, Wesley Matthews, Alfonzo McKinnie, Marc Gasol, and Montrezl Harrell.

An extraordinarily well-rounded roster that puts the Lakers in a prime position to land that 18th franchise championship.

The last signing the Los Angeles Lakers made was a familiar face. With Shams Charania of The Athletic breaking the news.

The signing while welcome came as a bit of a surprise to fans of the purple and gold. Mainly because the Lakers had waived him 2 weeks prior!

While Lakersnation is happy to have a player who bleeds purple and gold back on the roster, a percentage of the fan base was hoping for different players who could help the Lakers on the court more.

That is not to detract from Cook’s game. He is a great 3-point shooter, a great locker room guy, and a lifelong Lakers fan.

So who could the Lakers have signed instead of Cook?

Here are 3 players the Los Angeles Lakers could have signed instead of Quinn Cook.
