The Los Angeles Lakers are through their four preseason games before the 2020-21 season.

The Los Angeles Lakers have finished their fourth and final preseason game of 2020 and next up will be a game that actually matters against the Los Angeles Clippers. After the quickest offseason in American sports history, Lakers basketball is back.

While preseason games ultimately do not mean a single thing, it is nice to see the Lakers go a perfect 4-0 in the four preseason games. While they do not count, preseason games can provide a decent ballpark idea of how good a team is going to be.

It is exciting seeing the Lakers back in action and the four preseason games gave us plenty to be excited about for this upcoming season. We circled the four biggest.

1. Talen Horton-Tucker’s quick rise on the Los Angeles Lakers

Talen Horton-Tucker has been fantastic in the preseason. The 20-year-old second-round pick showed promising signs in the limited playing time he got in the NBA bubble and built on that with a really strong preseason.

This is more than just putting together impressive numbers in the box score. THT has been a legitimate positive on both ends of the floor and is as poised as a 20-year-old can be with the basketball in his hands.

THT is on the outside looking in on the Lakers’ rotation and it is hard to really pinpoint who he may take minutes from. But if the preseason is any indication, THT is the real deal at least as a solid rotation player.
