Talen Horton-Tucker had a career night for the Los Angeles Lakers!

Look, this site knows that Talen Horton-Tucker put up better stats in the preseason. But that’s what it was…THE PRESEASON! In this game, Talen Horton-Tucker had the game of his career. LeBron and Anthony Davis dominated the game as they should have, but THT was the third best player on the Lakers roster in this game.

But it’s not the statistics that is starting to get THT noticed and admired by many, it’s the professionalism and work ethic. Talen is respecting the journey to get better.

Let’s go to the Spectrum SportsNet studios and listen to James Worthy and Derek Fisher talk about how hard he has worked from far back as last season in the bubble.

THT put up an stat line of a career high 17 points (7-8 shooting and 2-3 from distance), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and a career high 4 steals in just 20 minutes.

Alex Caruso and Talen Horton-Tucker terrorized the Rockets on the defensive end. Now granted the Rockets were bad, but Alex Caruso, AD and Talen Horton-Tucker led a blanket party on the Rockets especially James Harden (7 turnovers!), P.J. Tucker and Eric Gordon.

On the offensive side of the ball, Caruso and Horton-Tucker’s time on the floor will gauged on the  consistency of their shots falling.

But watching the defensive intensity on the floor against Houston, Frank Vogel’s options just exploded. These two won’t stop everyone in the NBA like this, but you know that they will try. That’s all anyone can ask for.

The page is not a lesson, but a think tank discussion. The game would have been very boring if not for fireworks between Markieff Morris and DeMarcus Cousins. Read on to see how LeBron James is brought into it.
