The Los Angeles Lakers have started the season on fire, can they potentially get even better?

After the events of the past 12 months, with COVID-19 taking over the world, with Kobe and Gigi’s passing, and with the Los Angeles Lakers fighting on in the Orlando bubble and claiming the Larry O’Brien trophy. Nobody expected much from the Lakers in the early goings of the season.

It was expected that Superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis would coast the early goings of the season, that the opening two months of the season would be the Lakers pre-season and working themselves into game shape for the playoffs.

Nobody expected the Lakers to explode out of the blocks like this.

The Los Angeles Lakers have looked nothing short of incredible to start the season. The overall display has been something to marvel at.

The Lakers are 1st in both defensive and net rating and 4th in offensive rating, to go along with having the best overall record in the NBA currently sitting at 11-3.

It is hard to imagine if the Lakers could be playing any better.

But could they?

Are there moves to be made for the purple and gold that could elevate them even further? Can they add to the roster players that would put an even larger wedge between them and the rest of the league?

Here are 3 ways the Los Angeles Lakers can improve throughout the NBA season.
