Anthony Davis did everything for the Los Angeles Lakers…except score enough!

Lake Show Life would like to remind Lakers fans of a fun fact: The Los Angeles Lakers are 0-4 when LeBron James and Anthony Davis both score less than 20 points in the same game.

While LeBron James looked disengaged all night long, Anthony Davis seemingly was the opposite. He had a monster game going filling up the stat sheet. He almost had a triple-double by halftime.

AD had a game-high 17 rebounds (5 offensive!), 7 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks. His career-high of 6 assists (In one quarter!) was one of the main cogs in the Lakers machine launching to an early 19 point lead.

There was only one thing missing that the Los Angeles Lakers needed…THIS!

The Lake Show Life Lessons series has never wavered from this important analysis on AD. He has to be aggressive from the beginning. Even though he played an outstanding floor game in the first half, he wasn’t scoring. He lost his rhythm and shot only 6-16 from the field for 17 points.

Anthony Davis is the best player on the team. He can do multiple things on both ends of the floor. That’s great, but for the Los Angeles Lakers to be successful, AD has to make sure that scoring is the first priority in each and every game.

If you don’t believe that, well there’s always those Lake Show Life fun facts to read over again.

There was a reason why Anthony Davis wasn’t on the board early. Another starter was red hot at the start of the game. Read on to see who that starter was.
