The Los Angeles Lakers got away with a win despite AD having a serious off night scoring!

The TNT crew featuring Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith discussed the game Anthony Davis was having at halftime. After making it clear that there is no one in the NBA that has the complete skill set package, Charles Barkley stated that sometimes he lacked the killer instinct to go with it.

Lake Show Life is already on record mandating the Lakers needs an aggressive and offensively engaged Anthony Davis.

But these notes here show why the TNT crew was talking.

  • At the half, AD had almost as many fouls (3) as points and rebounds (4).
  • AD shooting eight times for an entire game is not a recipe for winning on most nights.
  • Shooting six free throws (Missing three of them!) is not going to get it either.

Davis only had 13 points, but loaded up the box score with 9 rebounds (3 offensive!), 3 steals, 2 blocks and 2 assists. On most nights the Lakers lose, but when the bench is playing lights out like Kuz, THT, Trezl and AC Fresh, they can survive a game or two.

Lake Show Life is extending its post-game coverage this season! There will be a short post-game report shortly after the game in addition to the extended post-game of Lake Show Life Lessons!
