The Los Angeles Lakers are just getting started.

It is a special time for a team when they just start to hit their stride. You can see it happening as everything seems to come together. Just look at the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Things were looking tough for them in November as they lost three games. One of them was to Kansas City. After that, everything started to come together and flow as they never lost another game and they cruised to a 31-9 victory over the Chiefs this past Sunday.

It’s all about the timing and when the pieces of the puzzle all come together. That is what is happening for the Los Angeles Lakers.

It is all starting to fit together perfectly for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Last night was another battle with the Oklahoma City Thunder. It would be another game that would go into overtime. The Lakers were missing Anthony Davis and Alex Caruso. This was a perfect opportunity to see once again what this team was made of and how well they are as a whole.

Kyle Kuzma, Wesley Matthews, and Talen Horton-Tucker all contributed effectively. Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder did what they have been doing all season long and of course, LeBron did his thing.

This team is running like a fine-tuned machine. Even when they are missing one or two parts, they are able to get an abundance of balance from other players on the bench. That is how you know that everything is starting to fit into place.

With LeBron James leading the way and making those around him better, it only makes it easier for these players to step in and do what they must. He has been the commander leading the troops into battle and carefully taking over games with them. Much like Tom Brady did with the Buccaneers.

The Lakers are just starting to hit their stride and that is rather scary for the rest of the league to be quite honest. They have won five games in a row, and are 8-2 in their last ten games.

This has all happened rather fast as many of the new pieces to the Laker puzzle such as Schroder and Harrell have quickly found a way to adapt to the system. It is quite a different looking team from opening night when they lost to the Clippers.

They are now in first place at 19-6 in the Pacific Division. The Utah Jazz hold a half-game lead over them for the best record in the league. What should concern opponents most is that they are 12-2 on the road and 12-4 in their conference. All signs that this is a special group.

We haven’t even gotten to the halfway point of the season yet as this team is just starting to cruise. Things are going to get a lot more interesting as this is just the start of what is to come.

Many experts were down on Brady and the Bucs and then they hit their stride. The Lakers are in that same zone. The rest of the NBA is going to get a taste of this if they have not so far. For all those that are silly to bet against the Lakers, be careful and beware.
