Los Angeles Lakers: Lake Show Life has a request. Pay Montrezl Harrell and lock him up now!

The Lakers have their issues these days, but this guy is just not one of them. Rob Pelinka should be in jail for highway robbery the way he fleeced the Los Angeles Clippers. How good is Harrell playing? If the Clippers front office was smart enough to lock him into a long-term deal, THEY would be the favorites for the NBA Finals and not the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers can’t afford to make the same mistake. Promise the man a long term deal when you are eligible to do so and sign him.

The Los Angeles Lakers lose this game if it wasn’t for Montrezl Harrell. Something that Derek Fisher shows in the Spectrum SportsNet studios.

In 33 minutes, Montrezl Harrell missed three shots…

  • One free throw.
  • Two from the field and he got an offensive rebound and put one of those two misses back in!

Trez finished with 20 points, 4 rebounds (2 offensive!) 3 assists and 2 blocks. More importantly, the Thunder frontline was worn down to potential fear of constant physical contact with this man. Need evidence?

  • With this move alone, the Lakers front office should forever be forgiven for the Ivica Zubac trade that brought Mike Muscala to the Lakers!
  • Harrell crossed Muscala with the dribble and gave both Muscala and Kenrich Williams motivation to go to the weight room when they go back midwest.

The Los Angeles Lakers are sitting on a $100 million price tag that will have to be dealt with, but this is not the guy that needs to be sacrificed to make Lakers owners happy. Pay the man!

Lake Show Life would like to welcome the Dennis Schroder fans to this article. To the ones that have been following this series are waiting for his analysis on the game. No time like the present, read on to see how he did!Â
