The Los Angeles Lakers are going to be active in some capacity this season. While a healthy Lakers team is still the best team in the league, Rob Pelinka is going to use any outlet possible to improve the team for another NBA Championship run.

He did the same thing last season. Markieff Morris, while he is playing poorly this season, was huge for the Lakers in the NBA Playoffs last season. The Lakers will be looking to make that same kind of addition this season.

One potential name is Nemanja Bjelica, who is in the last year of his contract and is on a bad Sacramento Kings team. With him not being a huge part of the rotation, Bjelica is a prime trade candidate.

Yesterday I broke down the reasons why the Los Angeles Lakers should be interested in trading for Bjelica. Today, we are breaking down a potential package for Bjelica, and the dynamics that both teams will be considering in this potential deal.

A potential trade package to get Nemanja Bjelica to the Los Angeles Lakers:

Bjelica’s contract is worth $7 million and the Lakers need to package the trio of Jared Dudley, Alfonzo McKinnie and Markieff Morris to make this possible. Let me explain why this trade would be worthwhile for both parties, first starting with the Sacramento Kings.
