4. LeBron James plays poorly in his first-ever NBA Finals game

LeBron James willed a Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals in 2007 when they really should not have been there. Not only was that the worst team LeBron ever brought to the Finals, but it might be one of the worst teams he has had around him in his career.

The fact that a 22-year-old LeBron was able to will the Cavaliers past the mighty Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals is a huge accomplishment upon itself. Yes, there is no such thing as a second-place trophy, but just look at that team LeBron had.

The second-best player on that team was Larry Hughes, who was an NBA journeyman that played only another five years in the league for five different teams. That Cavaliers team was awful.

And LeBron simply could not continue to do it all in the NBA Finals. The Cavs were swept by the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals and LeBron was particularly bad in Game 1.

LeBron scored 14 points on 4-16 shooting (2-6 from three) with seven rebounds, four assists and six turnovers. It is the second-fewest points that he has ever scored in an NBA Finals game.
