The Los Angeles Lakers hit the floor with their new acquisition, Andre Drummond against the Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Milwaukee Bucks. The Los Angeles Lakers lost more than the game when Drummond left with a toe contusion in the third quarter.

Lake Show Life breaks down what else happened in Lake Show Life Lessons! The only Los Angeles Lakers extended post-game report with in-depth analysis and highlights.

The Lake Show Life Lessons series was put together to take a deeper analytical look at the Los Angeles Lakers and show the Lakers Nation fanbase how the team can improve. It is getting harder and harder with each passing game. Why?

  • The Lakers cannot reach their full potential without their stars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
  • The injuries just keep piling up and nothing good comes without a set rotation. The Lakers have suffered not only from injuries but COVID-19 protocols that have affected their championship chemistry.
  • The front office is sorely limited with options to improve the roster because of salary cap restrictions.

The Los Angeles Lakers were not going to beat the Milwaukee Bucks with a healthy Giannis Antetokounmpo and no stars. This game was about Andre Drummond and getting a chance to see what he brings to the table when LeBron and AD get back.

Like the Lakers fans can’t even get that privilege?

Andre Drummond left early in the third quarter and did not return as the Milwaukee Bucks ran away to a 112-97 win.

The days of sugar-coating are over. The Lakers have to start winning. Even though the Lake Show is currently the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference, they are TIED in the loss column with the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers.

If the Nuggets beat the Clippers, they claim the fourth seed. Now if the Lakers lose to the Sacramento Kings on Friday and then lose to the LA Clippers on Sunday, let’s just say next week will be very interesting.

Lake Show Life would like to give a special shout-out to the entire Antetokounmpo family. All three brothers got to play in the same game. Giannis Antetokounmpo and his two brothers shared the court for 52 seconds late in the fourth quarter. Thanasis Antetokounmpo is Giannis’ teammate with the Bucks (Dude can play!), while Kostas Antetokounmpo is a Lakers reserve.

The Antetokounmpos became the second trio of brothers to play at the same time in an NBA game. Jrue Holiday and his brothers, Justin and Aaron, accomplished the feat in December 2019. This is a very rare occurrence and should be celebrated. The parents are probably floating on cloud nine watching their sons live out NBA dreams like this.
