Kyle Kuzma was the best player on the floor for the Los Angeles Lakers… FINALLY!

If the Los Angeles Lakers played the Sacramento Kings every game, Kyle Kuzma would be a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame. He collects season highs in scoring against the Kings like P.J. Tucker collects sneakers.

After dropping 25 points (Plus a potential game-winner that missed by inches!) before the All-Star weekend, Kuz took things to the next level in this game scoring 30 points (11-18 shooting!) with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

The turning point was when Kuzma attacked the right baseline and tried to dunk the ball so hard it missed and he was called for basket interference. After that, Kuz kicked his game a few notches and no one could stop him after that.

The Los Angeles Lakers need this Kuz to be on the plane for the rest of the month. Whether it’s the fact that he circles the Kings on the calendar because he always gets numbers or what, but he has to continue his aggressiveness a non Luke Walton coached team.

Going forward, the aggressiveness of Kyle looking to attack the basket instead of standing behind the arc and shooting 3 pointers will be the key for the offense. It’s not enough for Kuzma to fit in the offensive scheme. He has to LEAD the offensive scheme.

Speaking of being aggressive, a certain free agent signing seems to have woken Marc Gasol up the last few days. Read on to see how well he played. Enjoy the experience because…

  1. This is probably one of the few times you’ll see the big man in these reports playing well.
  2. Based on the conversations of Gasol and Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, he might not be around too much longer.
