Lake Show Life breaks down what else happened in Lake Show Life Lessons! The only Los Angeles Lakers extended post-game report with in-depth analysis and highlights.

The staff of Lake Show Life would like to have a prayer circle for the Los Angeles Lakers. Why? They just need point guards in a desperate fashion these days. This glaring need on the roster is not for the playoffs, we’re talking just this weekend.

Frank Vogel announced just before the game that Talen Horton-Tucker would be out not just for this game against the Los Angeles Clippers, but Friday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers as well.

The Lakers had to play the Clippers with three point guards in Patrick Beverley, Rajon Rondo, and Reggie Jackson with just one point guard in Alex Caruso with these on the shelf.

  • LeBron James out indefinitely with a high ankle sprain.
  • Dennis Schroder out indefinitely in NBA’s Health and Safety protocols.
  • THT out for at least two games with a calf strain.

Now let’s get to reality. Man, this was ugly. The Lakers got blown out 118-94 setting up a must-win game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. A loss in this game makes the play-in game the future instead of a possibility.

The Clippers took a 65-42 lead to the break and things were basically put to bed at that point. It marks the first time the Lakers have trailed by 20 points or more at halftime over the last two seasons.
