The Los Angeles Lakers opened up their postseason (Technically!) by playing their first Play-In Tournament game against the Golden State Warriors. After suffering through one of the worst offensive performances of the season, a few adjustments got the Lakers rolling. Oh…LeBron James is pretty good at basketball too.

Lake Show Life breaks down what else happened in Lake Show Life Lessons! The only Los Angeles Lakers extended post-game report with in-depth analysis and highlights.

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially turned into the prime NBA example of the quote “That’s why you play the games”. While Lakers fans (And some writers!) thought this game would be a blowout, this writer just stayed silent on predictions.

Now you see why. Seriously, what could go wrong right?

  • The Los Angeles Lakers shot around 25 percent in the first half to fall behind by 13 points at halftime.
  • The “Big Three” of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder was shooting the ball like “They couldn’t see” combining for 14.3 percent from the field.
  • Oh and Stephen Curry was starting to heat up!

The Lakers did not get their first lead until the fourth quarter, thanks to 15 second half turnovers by Golden State that got AD untracked. After that, LeBron James cemented his place as the lead story on SportsCenter for a couple of days with his famous quote of seeing three rims and shooting at the one in the middle.

The Lake Show hung on to beat the Golden State Warriors 103-100 at Staples Center in an instant classic. NBA TV might have this game on repeat until Sunday. The Lakers advance to the first round as the No. 7 seed to play the No. 2 seed, Phoenix Suns.

Before the analysis starts, the Lake Show Life Lessons staff wants to give a shout out to Stephen Curry. This dude was giving the Lakers the business before he started seeing double and triple teams.

There will be Lakers fans that will hate on this guy and if you are…you should be ashamed. This 6’3 guard would have sent the Lakers to a Friday matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies if Draymond Green could shoot in an empty gym.

Inside the NBA’s Kenny Smith is right. Right now as you read this, Stephen Curry is the best player on the planet. Period.

This contest combined two games in one. The Lakers were awful and breathtaking all in the span of 48 minutes.

To the new Los Angeles Lakers fans that are checking us out for the first time, welcome to Lake Show Life Lessons. Our extended post-game report with video analysis will cover the progress for the Los Angeles Lakers the entire season!

Over the next several pages we will provide highlights of certain players and coaches. Afterward, the comment section is loaded with knowledgeable fans adding their basketball knowledge. We usually start with the stars.
