3. Terry Rozier gives the Los Angeles Lakers a legitimate third scorer

The Lakers really need a legit third scorer. First of all, as previously mentioned, James needs someone to take the load off him so that he can stay fresh for the players and possibly add a year or two to his prime and overall viability.

Second, the reality is that you need three stars or good players to win it all these days. Even though the world champion Milwaukee Bucks aren’t a superteam, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are borderline All-Star caliber guys.

Rozier just had a season in which he averaged 20.4 points a game. It’s no fluke, as he put up 18.0 points per game last season.

His overall efficiency is also strong. He made 51.2 percent of his 2-point shots this year and had a true shooting percentage of 57.5 percent.

Rozier is a guy who is pretty adept at getting his own shot off the dribble. Therefore, James wouldn’t always have to be the guy to bail out the Lakers when they don’t have anything and the shot clock is running down.
