There is a potentially perfect trade asset on the market for the Los Angeles Lakers in Indianapolis Pacers‘ big man Myles Turner. Speculation about the Pacers shopping Turner has once again picked up this offseason and Turner would be a great fit in LA.

The center position is currently up in the air for the Lakers. Marc Gasol is the only center that the team is guaranteed to have on the roster next season and he was not that great. Andre Drummond is a free agent and is most likely going to sign elsewhere and Montrezl Harrell has a player option that he most likely is going to utilize.

That puts the Lakers in the market for the rim-protecting, rebounding center that treated them so well on the 2020 championship team. Granted, there are some solid cheap options available in free agency, but the Lakers could really splurge by going after someone such as Myles Turner.

The Los Angeles Lakers would have to put together their best trade package for Myles Turner.

Myles Turner has value. While I do not think he has as much value as Pacers fans would tell you, he is someone who is going to get a good return. The Lakers would have to send young, controllable players that the Pacers like in order to get Turner.

There absolutely could be better offers on the table that blow the Lakers’ offer out of the water. If that is the case we are not going to see Turner in the purple and gold anytime soon. However, this package is definitely good enough to at least intrigue the Pacers, especially with the youth of the package.
