The offseason has been extremely chaotic for the Los Angeles Lakers as the team welcomes almost an entirely new team from last season. The only players that are currently returning to the Lakers from last season are LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol and Talen Horton-Tucker. Jared Dudley is also a possibility.

This was to be expected after the Lakers pulled off the massive Russell Westbrook trade. Not only did the team have to fill out the rest of the roster, but it had to do so with very limited funds. Despite that hurdle, Rob Pelinka and the front office have done a great job in convincing guys to join the cause in LA.

Pelinka has not been perfect, and we already broke down the biggest mistakes he has made thus far, but he has been really, really good. It is really easy to have hometown bias and talk the Lakers up but this is a legit title contender, even if it is a bit old.

Certain free agency decisions are better than others for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Again, Pelinka has made a lot of decisions in the last few days and it is hard to not like most of them. Moves that did not crack our top three (we had to draw a line somewhere) include signing Kendrick Nunn and signing Carmelo Anthony. Those would have, respectively, ranked fourth and fifth.

From the bronze medal to the gold medal, here are the three best decisions Rob Pelinka has made in free agency.
