The Los Angeles Lakers have been very active in free agency this offseason and are not done yet. The team has three more roster spots to fill with 12 currently on the roster. The most likely route for the team is to sign two players before the season, leaving that 15th spot open for a buyout or late-season signing.

There were various reports of who the Lakers might be interested in signing with the initial wave of free agency cooling off. On Tuesday, we got the most definitive news and who the next Laker might be.

The Lakers reportedly worked out Darren Collison, Isaiah Thomas (who was already connected to the team) and Mike James as candidates for the final roster spot.

The Lakers are already 12 deep and whoever they sign moving forward might not play that huge of a role. However, each of the three players certainly has their own distinct pros and cons.

Today, we look at two pros and one con of the Los Angeles Lakers potentially signing Darren Collison.

Darren Collison might be the most interesting player that the Lakers worked out and that includes Isaiah Thomas. Collison has been connected to the Lakers before but has not played the last two seasons, retiring from the league after just 10 seasons.

Nobody really knows what to expect out of him, but based on what we do know, we can pinpoint the potential pros and con.
