1. JJ Redick

The reason for the Los Angeles Lakers waiting for JJ Redick is not as strong as the other players on this list but they could still be waiting on him. Redick said that he was in no rush to sign with his next team and likely won’t even sign for training camp.

At this point in his career, Redick expressed that he wanted to spend time with his family in the offseason. It seems like the most likely route for Redick is signing with a team either right before the season starts or once the season is underway.

If the Lakers plan on singing him right before the season starts then they might only make one signing until then, signing Redick with the 14th roster spot. If Redick plans on joining a team even later, perhaps he could be the 15th roster spot, especially if the Lakers get two of the other three players on this list for the 13th and 14th spots.

We know that the Lakers are interested in bringing in a guard considering the fact that they worked out three point guards and Redick fits what the team needs. While he won’t play good defense, he is one of the best off-ball three-point shooting threats in his entire league.

Redick is essentially the new Kyle Korver and we all know how important Korver was to the Cleveland Cavaliers with LeBron James.
